About me

Justin Grossbard started trading forex from home in 1998, when he was 19. If you have ever blown a small account early on, you know the feeling: he lost money he had saved from part-time work and kept his losses quiet because he was embarrassed. The turning point came when he stopped chasing systems and started treating trading as a discipline, the same rigour he would apply to a university subject. By the early 2000s he was stringing together consistent positive months, and that experience shaped what came next. In 2014 Noam Korbl and Justin co-founded CompareForexBrokers because they believed traders deserved a cleaner way to compare brokers. They launched with a small team and a shared conviction that transparency matters. Since then the site has grown across multiple markets, but I still approach every project the same way: capture the facts, show your work, and never dress up a gap as a certainty. That is the standard readers can expect from every page on this site.

What I do on this site

The research direction and final sign-off on every page sit with Justin. For the UAE edition we cover 35 brokers, each holding at least one live UAE licence from the CMA (formerly SCA), the DFSA in the DIFC, or the FSRA in the ADGM. He signs off on the broker shortlist, directs which data points get measured, captured and re-checked, and makes sure every published figure is traceable. Spreads, execution and funding were measured on live funded accounts between 5 and 28 August 2026; Noam Korbl and David Levy ran that capture, and every measured figure names the account tier and window it came from. Broker-published numbers come from each broker’s own UAE-facing pages and are verified against the CMA, DFSA and FSRA public registers, walked 17 to 19 August 2026. Every figure carries its capture date, and where a broker publishes nothing the page records that plainly rather than estimating. David Levy fact-checks the fine detail, and Noam Korbl leads education and trading-strategy content. His job is to ensure that what we publish can stand up to a sceptical reader with a browser and access to a public register. If you ever spot a discrepancy, you can check the register and see for yourself that we have not smoothed anything over.

Education

Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Monash University, completed in 2003, with majors in Finance and Marketing. He went on to complete a Master of Marketing at Monash in 2007. Later he obtained RG146 Generic Knowledge, issued by Financial Education Professionals; it is an Australian financial-services training accreditation, it carries no standing with any UAE regulator, and he does not present it as though it does. Those formal qualifications gave him a framework, but the education that most informs his work today came from screen time as a trader. Watching price action through the Asian session, learning to manage drawdowns, and slowly building a process taught him lessons that no textbook could replicate. When you read a broker review he has signed off, you are getting analysis shaped by that real-world experience, not just a list of features. It also shows the result of a verification process that checks every licence against the public register.

Where I have written

His byline appears in the Forbes Business Council and Kiplinger. He contributes long-form columns to Finance Magnates, and his work has also appeared at Entrepreneur. A press archive is publicly available on Muck Rack. Writing across those outlets has taught him to tailor a message without bending the facts, a discipline he brings back to every page he reviews here. That means the broker reviews you read on this site are built to the same editorial standard, so readers can trust the consistency.

How I trade, and what I hold

He trades his own account at Pepperstone. His style is medium-frequency swing trading on major pairs. He runs no managed fund, takes no signal subscriptions, and runs no copy-trade account that others follow. His trading is personal, private, and entirely separate from his role here. That separation matters because it means the analysis is not influenced by a personal trading agenda.
