Three published tiers, each with its own EUR/USD figure. HANDED UP, NOT CLOSED: ANAX uses BOTH basis words for the same numbers on the same page. The comparison table's row label is 'EUR/USD typical spread' with cell values 'From 1.2 / From 1.0 / From 0.8'; the hero strip reads 'EURUSD typical - Indicative'; every tier card reads 'EURUSD spread from 1.2 pips'. spread_basis is filed 'minimum' because 'from' is a floor, but the brief says minimum and typical are not interchangeable and are scored differently, and the broker has put 'typical' in a FIELD LABEL, not in passing. A reviewer argued this should be handed to the engine owner rather than settled by the capturer, and that argument is adopted: treat the 'minimum' filing as provisional. PUNCTUATION NOTE: the source uses a typographic middot rendered here as a hyphen; wording unaltered. Figures are ANAX Capital’s own published EUR/USD pricing, captured 2026-08-26 from its UAE-facing site, not spreads we have measured on a funded account. One pip on one standard lot of EUR/USD is US$10, which is the contract size and not an exchange rate, so nothing here converts through a currency.

Elite0.80 pips minimum spread, no commission figure published
US$160.00
Pro1.00 pips minimum spread, no commission
US$200.00
Prime1.20 pips minimum spread, no commission
US$240.00

Elite costs US$80.00 a month less than Prime at this volume

At 1.0 lot and 20 trades a month on EUR/USD, Elite costs US$8.00 per round turn (0.80 pips spread, with no commission figure published), against US$12.00 on Prime.

ANAX Capital publishes no commission figure against Elite, so the amount shown there is the spread alone. Read it as a floor rather than a total, and check the account terms for any charge the pricing page does not print.

Our verdict on ANAX Capital

Anax Capital Financial Markets L.L.C holds a CMA dealing licence (20200000258) with permissions to deal, introduce, promote, and trade OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market. The licence does not include Category 5 status, and the public register shows no custody permission. I would verify client asset protection before opening an account.

ANAX publishes three account tiers with EUR/USD spreads from 1.2, 1.0 and 0.8 pips. The page uses both 'typical' and 'from' language, making the real cost basis unclear. Elite tier commission is labelled 'competitive' but no figure is given. The broker does not publish a commission rate or per-side structure, so I cannot calculate all-in costs.

The Prime account suits a retail trader who wants a CMA-regulated broker with MetaTrader 5, a low $100 minimum deposit and zero-commission spreads. I would be stopped by the missing custody permission on the licence, the qualified segregation language, and the lack of a published commission rate for the Elite tier. The absence of cTrader, TradingView and a disclosed AED base currency also limits its appeal.

Pros

  • It is licensed by the UAE CMA under licence number 20200000258.
  • It offers MetaTrader 5, a web trader and a native mobile app.
  • The Prime account has a minimum deposit of $100 with zero commission.
  • UAE bank transfer deposits are processed same business day with no broker fee.

Cons

  • The CMA licence does not include a custody permission.
  • Elite tier commission is not published, so all-in costs are unclear.
  • The cost page mixes 'typical' and 'from' spread language, creating confusion.
  • MetaTrader 4, cTrader and TradingView are not offered.

Is ANAX Capital regulated in the UAE

The CMA public register, pulled on 26 August 2026, lists Anax Capital Financial Markets L.L.C as Active. The brand is ANAX Capital. The licence number is 20200000258 and the tier is dealing. The entity was established in Dubai on 14 December 2023. It is not Category 5.

The register gives five active activities: Financial Products dealer; Introduction; Promotion; Trading broker in the international markets; Trading broker of OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market. That is a broad permission set, but it stops short of Category 5. ANAX states it classifies clients under SCA regulations. The terms page says, “In accordance with SCA regulations, Anax Capital Financial Markets LLC classifies clients as Retail Clients, Professional Clients, or Market Counterparties based on the nature of their trading experience, financial sophistication, and risk profile.”

Custody is the main limitation I would check before opening a UAE retail account. The public register does not show a custody permission or endorsement. ANAX publishes a segregation claim on its homepage: “Client funds: Retail client monies are held in segregated accounts with tier-1 UAE banks, separate from ANAX Capital’s operating capital, reconciled to bank records and audited annually.” The broker’s own terms then qualify that. They say, “Client funds may be placed in a pooled account with other clients’ funds, meaning clients do not have a direct claim to a specific amount.” Those two statements sit side by side. The second one matters because it limits what segregation means in practice.

What trading with ANAX Capital costs

ANAX publishes three account tiers on its accounts page: Prime, Pro and Elite. Each tier has a different EUR/USD spread and minimum deposit.

The published cost wording is inconsistent, and I would not try to smooth it over. The comparison table uses the row label “EUR/USD typical spread” with cell values “From 1.2 / From 1.0 / From 0.8”. The hero strip reads “EURUSD typical - Indicative”. The tier cards say “EURUSD spread from 1.2 pips”. That is a conflict. “Typical” and “from” are not the same basis. A typical spread suggests a representative figure, while “from” is a floor. The broker puts both words on the same page, so a reader cannot know which description is the real published basis.

Prime states “EURUSD spread from 1.2 pips - zero commission”. The comparison table lists Commission as “Zero”. Minimum deposit is $100.00. It also states a demo period of 30 days free.

Pro states “EURUSD spread from 1.0 pips - zero commission”. The table says Commission “Zero”. Minimum deposit is $1,000. It adds “API connectivity available on request”.

Elite states “EURUSD spread from 0.8 pips - competitive commission”. The table says Commission “Competitive”. ANAX does not publish a commission figure or per-side or round-turn wording for Elite. Minimum deposit is $10,000. It lists “FIX / API access”.

Stop-out is stated as 50% across the three tiers.

Platforms and execution

ANAX says “ONE LIQUIDITY - THREE SURFACES”: MetaTrader 5 Desktop, Web Trader, and the ANAX App. It also says “Industry-standard MetaTrader 5 on desktop and web, plus our own native ANAX Trading App.”

MetaTrader 4 is not on the published list, so ANAX does not offer it. cTrader and TradingView are also absent from that list. That absence matters because the broker presents the list as its complete surface set.

Expert Advisors are supported. The platform page mentions “Expert Advisors (EAs) with full backtester” and “MQL5 automation”.

API access is published on the Pro and Elite tiers, not on Prime. Pro says “API connectivity available on request”. Elite says “FIX / API access”.

Demo access is tied to Prime, which states “Demo period: 30 days free”.

The page does not publish any VPS offering. I would not call that a refusal to offer VPS. It is simply not disclosed.

Execution policy is not covered by the platforms page. There is an order execution policy PDF at /policy/order-execution.pdf, but it was not downloaded and parsed in this run, so I will not describe execution terms beyond the platform and API facts above.

Funding and withdrawals

The funding table on the deposit page is specific about methods, times, minimums and fees. It reads:

4 funding methods, compared on fees, minimum deposits and processing speed.
METHODPROCESSING TIMEMIN DEPOSITFEE
Visa / MastercardInstant$100None
Bank transfer (UAE)Same business day$100None
Bank transfer (international SWIFT)1-2 business days$500None (bank fees may apply)
Local payment railsInstant - same day$100None

The broker states, “Withdrawals must be returned to the original deposit method (anti-money-laundering requirement). Processing time matches the inbound channel.”

What the page does not publish is currency. The funding table names methods and USD minimums but no currency at all, and no base-currency list exists on the site. I cannot say ANAX offers an AED account or AED deposits, and I cannot say it does not. It has not disclosed either.

The site also says “client funds segregated in tier-1 UAE banks”. I treat that as a custody claim, not as a named funding partner. No bank is named. The funding table has a “Bank transfer (UAE)” method and “Local payment rails”, but the local institutions behind those rails are not disclosed.

Which entity you contract with

This is the section I would read twice. The public register entity and the contracting entity are the same, and ANAX does not point to an offshore alternative anywhere on the site.

The site footer states, “ANAX Capital Financial Markets LLC is a Dubai-headquartered, UAE-licensed broker authorised and regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) under Category 1 - Dealing in Securities. Licence number 20200000258. Paid-up capital AED 30 million. Registered office: Office 301, Aspin Commercial Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.”

The terms page is more specific. It says, “This Agreement establishes the contractual relationship between you, the Client, and Anax Capital Financial Markets LLC. … incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, registered under Commercial License No. [1256850], and regulated by the SCA under Registration No. [20200000258].”

The register spells the entity as Anax Capital Financial Markets L.L.C. The footer and terms spell it ANAX Capital Financial Markets LLC without the stops. I treat those as the same Dubai entity because the licence number and registered office match.

The strongest available evidence is footer-level. Public PDFs exist for terms, order execution, conflicts, and risk disclosure, but none were downloaded and parsed in this run. A signed client agreement would be the next thing I would inspect before relying on the contracting entity statement.

Customer service and education

ANAX gives a toll-free UAE number as “800 MYANAX (800 692 629). Toll-free inside the UAE, 24/7.” It also lists “+971 52 245 0374. Multilingual chat, 24/7.” The contact page mentions “Dubai-based support - phone, WhatsApp, email - every business day - bilingual desk.” There is no on-site chat widget, so live chat as a website feature is not offered. WhatsApp is the chat channel.

Hours are inconsistent. The page says “Dubai-based - multilingual - 24/7. Pick the channel that suits you.” It also says “UAE office hours - Sun - Thu - 09:00 - 18:00 GST”. Both strings appear on the same contact page. I would not describe the support hours as settled.

Email is [email protected] with “Response within one business hour.” The office address is “Office 301, Aspin Commercial Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE.” The desk is bilingual: “English / عربي / Bilingual desk”.

Education is a research desk blog, not a structured academy. The blog carries “Strategy, macro context and platform tutorials - written by the ANAX research desk.” Titles include “MetaTrader 5 (MT5): The Ultimate Forex Trading Platform for Modern Traders” and “Indices Trading Explained: A Simple Beginner’s Guide to a Complex Market”. No structured course or academy exists. The accounts page claims “Educational tools and onboarding desk” and “Education & onboarding: Yes” across all three tiers, but that is a support claim, not published course material.

ANAX has an Arabic site toggle, but the blog index rendered English-only, so Arabic education content is not disclosed. I found no events or seminars page.

FAQs

Is ANAX Capital regulated in the UAE?
Yes. Anax Capital Financial Markets L.L.C is listed as Active on the UAE CMA public register under licence number 20200000258, with a dealing tier. The entity was established in Dubai on 14 December 2023. The licence permits dealing, introduction, promotion and trading of OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market. I would always verify the register for the latest status.
What is the minimum deposit for ANAX Capital?
The minimum deposit is $100 for the Prime account. The Pro account requires $1,000 and the Elite account requires $10,000. All deposits can be made via Visa, Mastercard, UAE bank transfer or local payment rails with no broker fees. The minimum for international SWIFT transfers is $500.
What are the spreads and commissions at ANAX Capital?
ANAX publishes EUR/USD spreads from 1.2 pips on Prime, 1.0 pips on Pro and 0.8 pips on Elite. Prime and Pro have zero commission. The Elite tier lists 'competitive' commission but no rate is disclosed. The broker uses both 'typical' and 'from' language, so the actual spread basis is unclear.
Does ANAX Capital offer an Islamic account?
ANAX Capital does not mention an Islamic or swap-free account on its website. I could not find any published terms or account features that confirm swap-free trading. If you need a Sharia-compliant account, you would need to contact the broker directly to ask whether it can provide one.
Which entity do I contract with when I open an account with ANAX Capital?
You contract directly with Anax Capital Financial Markets L.L.C, the same Dubai entity that holds CMA licence 20200000258. The terms state the agreement is between you and that entity, incorporated in the UAE. There is no offshore entity or subsidiary mentioned. I would inspect the signed client agreement to confirm before relying on it.
