Best trading apps in the UAE (2026)

Of the 25 UAE-licensed brokers reviewed, 19 have a broker-owned iOS app with ratings on the AE App Store, but rating counts range from 8 to 15,027, so the ranked order must be read with caution.

Quick verdict: trading apps in the UAE

This guide covers broker-owned iOS trading apps available to you as a UAE resident. CompareForexbrokers.ae reviews 25 UAE-licensed brokers. Of those, 19 have a broker-owned iOS app with ratings on the United Arab Emirates storefront of the Apple App Store. The remaining brokers either have an app with no UAE ratings recorded or no broker-owned app in the dataset.

Our team collected all rating figures in August 2026 from the United Arab Emirates storefront of the Apple App Store. Noam Korbl pulled the data using the Apple iTunes Search and Lookup API for the UAE storefront. The figures you see in the table are the weighted average rating across each broker’s AE apps and the total number of AE ratings.

My caution before you read the ranking is simple: rating counts vary from 8 to 15,027. That is a very large range. A 4.79 average from 48 ratings and a 4.66 average from 15,027 ratings are not comparable measures of the same thing. An app rating is a snapshot of user experience with software. It is not a licence check, a custody check or a promise that your trading will be profitable.

This matters enough to repeat: the UAE has three financial regulators: the onshore CMA (formerly SCA), the DFSA in the DIFC, and the FSRA in the ADGM. An app is only software. Your account protections depend on which licensed entity you open the account with.

UAE App Store ratings compared

The figures you see here were collected in August 2026 from the United Arab Emirates storefront of the Apple App Store.

I designed the App Fit ranking to reward brokers that do well both in our app data and in our full review. The table is ranked by App Fit, which combines this page’s own captured columns (70 points) with the broker’s Overall CFB Score from its review (30 points). One broker has no published CFB Score, so no App Fit is calculated and it sits at the bottom of the table with every figure we did capture. You can see the exact weights on our methodology page.

The ranked order is a simple sort by average score. It is not a quality ranking. The rating counts differ by three orders of magnitude, from HYCM’s 8 ratings to Capital.com’s 15,027 ratings. A 4.79 average from 48 ratings and a 4.66 average from 15,027 ratings are not comparable measures of the same thing. HYCM’s 3.00 comes from 8 ratings, which is too small a sample to support any conclusion at all. For a broker with only 15 or 48 ratings, a small number of new reviews can move the average substantially.

When you look at the averages, note that Century Financial has the highest weighted average at 4.79, based on 48 ratings. ThinkMarkets follows with 4.75 based on 112 ratings. Capital.com and MultiBank both show 4.66, but their samples are very different: 15,027 and 71 ratings. XTB and XM sit close behind with 4.65 and 4.62, with more than 1,000 ratings each. Noor Capital’s 4.60 comes from 15 ratings, which gives that figure much less stability than IG’s 4.60 from 571 ratings.

If you are considering Pepperstone, note that its UAE licences cover arranging only. It holds no custody permission, and client money is held by Pepperstone Markets Limited in The Bahamas, registration SIA-F217.

Risk warning: CFDs are leveraged products. Leverage works against you as well as for you, and you may lose some or all of your deposit. Read the broker's own client agreement and check its licence on the CMA (formerly SCA), DFSA or FSRA public register before opening an account.

1. Capital.com: 15,027 UAE App Store reviews

2. XTB: 1,035 UAE App Store reviews

XTB's app arrives with a 4.65 AE rating. I would point a trader who values a tightly designed, broker-built experience straight at this one, because the app feels purpose-made rather than white-labelled. XTB MENA Limited is licensed by the DFSA (DIFC) under reference F006316.

4. IG: 571 UAE App Store reviews

IG's app has a 4.60 AE rating. I would recommend it to a trader who wants a mature, well-funded platform where the mobile experience mirrors the desktop depth without feeling cramped. A thinner sample of 571 UAE ratings makes the average more sensitive, yet the availability of MT4, MT5, TradingView and its own platform lets phone charting mirror desktop. IG Limited is licensed by the DFSA (DIFC) under reference F001780.

What an app rating does and does not tell you

Let’s be clear about what an app rating actually tells you. It is a summary of user feedback about software. It may reflect whether the app opened reliably, whether navigation felt clear and whether users could find the functions they expected. It does not measure the broker’s financial health, regulatory status, execution quality, custody arrangements or capital protections.

I would not take a high app rating as evidence that trading is safe or profitable. It is not evidence that a broker is suitable for you. An app store score is not a broker quality score. The ratings in this guide were collected in August 2026 from the UAE App Store, and store ratings can change as new reviews arrive.

Never use an app rating as a substitute for checking the broker’s legal entity, licence and account terms. A larger sample can make an average more stable, but it still does not turn the score into a safety score. Capital.com has 15,027 ratings, while several brokers have fewer than 100. The sample size helps judge how much weight to place on the average. But an app rating is not a substitute for checking the broker’s legal entity, licence and account terms.

Brokers with no rated UAE app

Three brokers have an app but no UAE ratings in our dataset: Deriv, Fortrade and Traze. If you use one of these apps, the absence of ratings does not mean it is missing or broken. It simply means that no AE App Store ratings were returned at the time of collection.

CMS Financial, Daman Markets and Traders Hub had no broker-owned app in the dataset. If you are considering one of these brokers, note that they may still serve UAE clients through web platforms or other software. Having no app in this comparison is not a failing, and an app is not required for a broker to hold a UAE licence.

What to check before you trade from a phone

Before you open any account, check which legal entity the account will be with. A trading brand may use different legal entities in different jurisdictions. In the UAE, the entity could be licensed by the CMA (formerly SCA), the DFSA or the FSRA. The legal name on your account agreement should be the name you have verified on the regulator’s register.

Another thing to check is custody permissions. Check whether that entity holds a custody permission if custody matters to you. Four rated brokers in this comparison hold arranging-tier licences: ThinkMarkets, Interactive Brokers, Pepperstone and Axi. An arranging-tier firm cannot be the counterparty to a trade. For Pepperstone, its UAE licences cover arranging only, it holds no custody permission, and client money is held by Pepperstone Markets Limited in The Bahamas, registration SIA-F217.

Check who publishes the app. The publisher may be the licensed entity or a group company. The App Store developer name is not necessarily the same as the regulated entity that holds the account. Before you send money or place a trade, confirm the app publisher against the broker’s regulatory listing.

Remember: a trade on a phone is just as binding as one on a desktop. Order entry on a phone is the same legally binding instruction as order entry on a desktop. A trade you submit through an app carries the same obligations. Do not treat mobile trading as informal or less serious.

How UAE regulation applies to trading apps

I’ll say it plainly: an app is just software. It is not licensed, does not hold client money and is not a counterparty. The UAE has three financial regulators: the onshore CMA (formerly SCA), the DFSA in the DIFC, and the FSRA in the ADGM. Your protections come from the licence of the entity the account is opened with.

I always check the licence tier. A UAE licence may be in a dealing tier or an arranging tier. A dealing-tier firm can be the counterparty to a trade. An arranging-tier firm cannot. Four of the rated brokers hold arranging-tier licences: ThinkMarkets, Interactive Brokers, Pepperstone and Axi. Pepperstone’s UAE licences cover arranging only, it holds no custody permission, and client money is held by Pepperstone Markets Limited in The Bahamas, registration SIA-F217.

The app is just an access layer. When a trader uses a trading app offered by a UAE-licensed brokerage, the app is an access layer. The legal relationship is between the trader and the licensed entity. Before trading, confirm the exact legal entity, the licence number and the licence tier. Regulation does not remove market risk. Capital can be lost whether trading from a phone or a desktop.

Ratings counts and averages from the Apple App Store United Arab Emirates storefront via the iTunes Search API, August 2026, each one an all-versions average rather than a windowed one, because that is what Apple publishes. Broker-owned apps only; MetaTrader and cTrader platform apps are excluded. Google Play is not in this table: a Play review count is worldwide rather than UAE-specific, so it is not comparable with the counts here and is never added to them. Play figures are published on the individual broker reviews we hold a capture for. Refreshed monthly.

FAQs

Which trading app is rated highest in the UAE?
Century Financial's app has the highest weighted average rating at 4.79, based on 48 ratings. That is a small sample, so I would treat that score with caution.
Does a high app rating mean a broker is safe?
No. An app rating reflects user experience with software. It does not measure a broker's financial health, regulatory status, custody arrangements or whether trading is safe or profitable. I would never rely on an app rating to judge safety.
Which UAE brokers have no trading app?
CMS Financial, Daman Markets and Traders Hub had no broker-owned app in our dataset. Deriv, Fortrade and Traze have an app but no AE App Store ratings recorded. Neither situation is treated as a failing. I'd note that an app is not required for a UAE licence.
Are trading apps regulated in the UAE?
The app itself is not licensed. In the UAE the regulators are the CMA (formerly SCA), DFSA and FSRA, and they license the entity you open your account with. An app is only software for accessing that account. I always check the entity's licence, not the app's rating.
Can I open an account entirely from a phone?
In general, a mobile app can collect your details, run identity checks and accept orders, but final onboarding depends on the licensed entity. The legal account relationship remains with the brokerage firm, not the app. I'd still verify the entity on the regulator's register before funding.
