Three tiers, each with its own published EUR/USD floor. The Pro commission is stated on the tier page as USD 6 per lot round trip. Figures are Traze’s own published EUR/USD pricing, captured 2026-08-22 from its UAE-facing site, not spreads we have measured on a funded account. One pip on one standard lot of EUR/USD is US$10, which is the contract size and not an exchange rate, so nothing here converts through a currency.

Our verdict on Traze

Traze Securities L.L.C holds an onshore CMA Dealing in Investments licence, which permits it to act as counterparty. The broker publishes three account types with minimum deposits ranging from USD 0 to USD 5,000 and advertised spreads from 0.0 pips on EUR/USD. Leverage of 500:1 is published for all instrument classes, and the the CMA retail maximum is 500:1 on major forex pairs.

AED funding is supported through local bank transfers and card deposits, with an AED wallet generated automatically. Bank account details sit behind a login wall, and no conversion fee is published. The broker states withdrawals are processed within 24 hours and that bank transfer withdrawals carry no fee from Traze.

The UAE-licensed entity is absent from the traze.ae website, which discloses only South African and Seychelles entities. No Islamic account is offered under the CMA licence, and the exact entity a UAE resident contracts with remains unverified. These gaps are significant for a trader seeking an onshore relationship.

Is Traze regulated in the UAE

I start with the regulator because that is where a broker’s promises either hold up or fall apart. Our team checked the CMA register on 21 August 2026 and found Traze Securities L.L.C holding a Dealing in Investments licence under reference CP-0001117. That Dealing tier lets the entity act as counterparty to your trades.

The CMA is the onshore securities regulator of the United Arab Emirates, formerly known as the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). Traze Securities L.L.C is recorded on the public register as a Category 1 licensed firm. The licence gives the broker authority to deal, and the costs it sets for clients are detailed in the next section.

What trading with Traze costs

Traze offers three account choices. The Standard account has no minimum deposit and advertises EUR/USD spreads from 1.5 pips with no commission. The Prime account asks for USD 500 and starts EUR/USD at 0.9 pips, also commission-free. The Pro account requires USD 5,000 and quotes EUR/USD from 0.0 pips, but a commission of USD 6 per lot per side applies. If you trade regularly, I would look closely at the Prime account, because the spread nearly halves without adding a commission line.

Every spread figure shown is the broker’s advertised number. Traze does not publish a typical spread, so you cannot compare likely costs against the headline. The account currencies are not stated either, and no other fees are disclosed. That gap is something I would want filled before opening an account.

To put it plainly: Standard requires 0 USD minimum and 1.5 pips. Prime is 500 USD and 0.9 pips. Pro is 5,000 USD and 0.0 pips plus 6 USD per lot per side commission. The leverage limits that sit behind these accounts are covered next.

Leverage limits that apply to Traze

For onshore brokers, the CMA retail maximum on major forex pairs is 500:1. That means Traze Securities L.L.C is not subject to a regulatory cap. The broker publishes its own leverage limits, which are 500:1 for all instrument classes. What this tells me is that the broker can offer the full 500:1 and it does, across the board. You are seeing a commercial ceiling, not a regulatory one.

You will sometimes see a 50:1 ladder quoted for the SCA, but that is the US NFA/CFTC structure. No CMA (formerly SCA) article or decision supports it. The 30:1 cap on major pairs is a DFSA (DIFC) and FSRA (ADGM) rule, and those are separate free-zone regulators. Applying either of those to an onshore CMA (formerly SCA) broker is simply wrong, and I would treat any source that does it with caution.

Traze publishes a maximum leverage of 500:1 for everything: major and minor currency pairs, gold, major and minor indices, other commodities, and single shares. That is a broker-published limit, not a regulatory tier. The broker does not state different leverage for professional clients, so the same 500:1 applies across the board. The platforms where those leveraged trades run are covered next.

Platforms and execution

Traze offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and a Traze Mobile App. cTrader and TradingView are not available. In its Order Execution Policy, the broker says it runs an STP/ECN model. That sounds good on paper, but I need to see whose policy that is.

That execution policy is issued by Traze (Pty) Ltd, a South African entity. Traze Securities L.L.C holds a Dealing in Investments licence, which lets it act as counterparty to your trades. But the UAE entity does not publish its own execution policy. So the model that actually applies to a UAE account is unverified. That gap deserves attention, and I would not ignore it.

The homepage lists 35+ currency pairs. For indices, commodities, or shares, no per-asset-class counts are published, so you cannot gauge the depth of those markets. Traze Copy Trading is offered under the Seychelles licence of Zeal Capital Market (Seychelles) Limited, not the UAE entity. Funding and withdrawal methods, including AED support, are covered next.

Funding and withdrawals

Deposits in AED and USD are accepted via local bank transfer, international bank transfer, and Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards. No e-wallet or cryptocurrency deposit methods are stated, so if you prefer those, you will need to look elsewhere.

Once your account is approved, an AED wallet is generated automatically. A UAE local bank account exists for transfers, but the bank name and account number are visible only after logging into the MyTraze portal. The broker does not publish a currency conversion fee, which is something I would want to know before funding.

Traze says withdrawals are processed within 24 hours. Bank transfer withdrawals carry no fee from the broker, though your bank may charge you. Card withdrawal fees are not stated. Withdrawals must be returned to the original source of deposit, which is standard practice. Islamic and swap-free accounts are covered next.

Islamic and swap-free accounts

Under the UAE licence, Traze Securities L.L.C does not offer an Islamic or swap-free account. No swap-free terms are published on traze.ae. If that matters to you, this is a clear line in the sand.

There is a swap-free facility, but it sits under the Seychelles-licensed entity Zeal Capital Market (Seychelles) Limited, trading as Traze. Its terms document (Ver 1.3.2026) invokes Sharia principles and says the facility is provided to facilitate religious compliance. The replacement fee is USD 4 to USD 22 per lot per night, with a five-night grace period. The fee is waived entirely if your account equity reaches USD 100,000 for MENA residents excluding Turkey.

The marketing page for swap-free overnight charges states the five-day grace unconditionally. The terms supplement says fees are waived only above an equity threshold. That is a contradiction, and no Shariah board or certification is named. This offer is not available to UAE residents contracting with the CMA entity. So the entity a client contracts with is critical, and that is where I turn next.

Which entity you contract with

I checked traze.ae and could not find Traze Securities L.L.C named on any public page. The only regulated entities disclosed are Traze (Pty) Ltd (South Africa, FSCA FSP48248) and Zeal Capital Market (Seychelles) Limited (FSA SD027). That is a red flag for me, because the entity a reader is learning about is invisible on its own site.

The CMA licence reference CP-0001117 and the Dubai office address appear only in the footer. The legal name Traze Securities L.L.C is missing from the homepage, About Us, Risk Disclosure, Terms and Conditions, and Order Execution Policy. The registration flow and client agreement do not state which entity a client contracts with. I would not proceed without clarity on this.

What that gap means for you is that a UAE resident opening an account through traze.ae may be contracting with an offshore entity, not the CMA-licensed firm. The exact contracting entity has not been verified. I list what this review could not establish next.

Dealing licence The UAE entity can be the counterparty UAE resident opens an account UAE licensed entity counterparty to the trade Money held in the UAE under the UAE regulator Arranging licence The UAE entity introduces only UAE resident opens an account UAE licensed entity introduces, does not deal Group entity elsewhere counterparty, holds the money
The two UAE licence tiers. On a dealing licence the UAE entity is the counterparty and the money sits in the UAE. On an arranging licence the UAE entity introduces the client, and the counterparty and the client money sit with another group entity in another jurisdiction. Traze holds a dealing licence.

What this review has not established

The exact entity you contract with when opening an account through traze.ae remains unverified. The site does not disclose whether the client agreement is with Traze Securities L.L.C, Traze (Pty) Ltd, or Zeal Capital Market (Seychelles) Limited. No other material gaps were identified. That one gap, though, is the kind I lose sleep over.

FAQs

Is Traze regulated in the UAE?
Yes. Traze Securities L.L.C holds a Dealing in Investments licence from the CMA under reference CP-0001117. We checked the register on 21 August 2026. That means it can legally deal with you.
What is the minimum deposit for Traze?
The Standard account has no minimum deposit. The Prime account requires USD 500. The Pro account requires USD 5,000. All figures are as advertised on the broker's website. I would start with the Standard if you are testing the waters.
Does Traze offer an Islamic account?
No. Traze Securities L.L.C does not offer an Islamic or swap-free account. A swap-free facility exists under a Seychelles entity but is not available under the UAE licence. If you need swap-free trading, you will have to look offshore, and that comes with its own risks.
What leverage does Traze offer?
Traze publishes a maximum leverage of 500:1 for all instrument classes. The CMA retail maximum is 500:1 on major forex pairs, so this is a broker-published commercial limit, not a regulatory tier. You are seeing the ceiling the broker chose, not a cap imposed by the regulator.
Can I deposit AED with Traze?
Yes. AED deposits are accepted via local bank transfer and card. An AED wallet is auto-generated. The UAE bank account details are visible only after login. Conversion fees are not stated. I would want to know the conversion cost before sending money.
